10:1And I saw another strong Messenger descending out of the sky. He had been clothed with a cloud and there was a rainbow over his head. His face was like the sun and his feet were like pillars of fire.10:2In his right hand he held a little open scroll. He placed his right foot on the sea and his left on the land.

10:3He called out in a loud voice like the roar of a lion, and the seven thunders responded.10:4When they did, I intended to write it down but I heard a voice from the sky saying, “Seal up what the seven thunders said and do not write it down.”

10:5Then the Messenger I had seen standing on the sea and the land lifted his right hand to the sky.10:6He swore an oath to the Eternal Living One, who formed the sky, the earth, the sea, and all they contain, that there will be no more delay:10:7in the day that the seventh Messenger sounds the trumpet the secret of God will be completed, which is the Gospel he announced to his slaves the prophets.

10:8Then the voice I had heard from the sky spoke to me again and said, “Go and take the open scroll from the hand of the Messenger standing on the sea and the land.”10:9So I went to the Messenger and asked for the little scroll, and he replied, “Take it and eat it; it will upset your belly but taste as sweet as honey in your mouth.”

10:10Then I took the little scroll out of his hand and ate it, and it did in fact taste as sweet as honey in my mouth but upset my belly.10:11Then he says to me, “You must prophesy again to people groups, nations, languages, and many kings.”
